In my last post about products I didn't like I mentioned mostly skin care and hair products, but this time I'm going to talk about makeup products I didn't like. I won't ramble much, because today I'm not very talkative, I'm just going to say short why I don't like each product.
Mascaras
I wrote about mascaras recently, you can go and check that post here. Essence Lash Curler, Max Factor Excess Volume and Yves Rocher Sexy Plum mascaras promise volume to the lashes, but unfortunately none of these works great. Essence and Yves Rocher give pretty natural look to the lashes, while Max Factor gives more volume than other two, but it leaves a horrible sticky feeling when I close my eyes. Makeup Revolution Amazing Curlmascara promises amazing curl to lashes, but it actually looks like I'm not wearing anything when I have it on. Definitely check my post Searching for a Perfect Mascara to find out more about each mascara.
Catrice eyeshadow Talk Like an Egyptian
Most of metallic eyeshadows I tried from Catrice have good quality, but I'm not the most impressed with this one. It has a strange formula. It's creamy, but bad pigmented. It's very hard to apply on lids and achieve an even look on eyes, if you don't have a golden base underneath. It falls out like crazy. If you're searching for a golden metallic shade, skip this one. Sleek has some great in their palettes, rather give a chance to those (plus you'll get some other amazing shades as well).
Eye Care Golden Brown eyeshadow
This is a creamy eyeshadow that is specially designed for girls that wear contact lenses. The color of the eyeshadow is actually great, but the formula is just strange. You should apply it with applicator, but it's very hard to apply eyeshadow nicely, specially if you have smaller eyes, because the applicator is too big. If I apply it with fingers, it blends so much that it becomes very sheer. The thing that bothers me the most is that this eyeshadow drys quickly, like in a second. If I made a mistake or I want to apply a bit more on a certain place, I smudge everything because eyeshadow already dried on that place and then I just pull everything from the lid. What also bothers me by this product is that eyeshadow looks cracked on the lid once it drys. Too bad, because otherwise this eyeshadow would be great, specially because it doesn't fade away and it stays on the place for a whole day.
First of all, the color of this eyeliner is far from deep black. It's more like a greyish shade. Second of all, I have no idea why I'm still buying Essence eyeliners in a shape of pens, because none of them impressed me till now. It drys out quickly and it's also very hard to do a winged liner with it. It's just impossible to do a wing, because the eyeliner doesn't give any color. This eyeliner stains the skin and it's also hard to remove.
Makeup Revolution has such amazing shades in Salvation Velvet collection, specially great for summer, but these have such a bad formula. They're not the easiest to apply, because they don't apply evenly, and once they dry, they feel heavy on lips. They also crackle and peel off the lips after some time. Definitely not a product you'd want to wear in public and you'd wonder, if the product cracked or peeled off and you're having it on your teeth or clothes.
Maybelline Colorama lipgloss 377 and 577
These are some strange lip glosses. They contain big glitter, which is noticeable on lips, they are sticky, have strange scent and they leave strange taste in the mouth when I'm wearing them. The pigmentation is ok and they don't dry lips, but that doesn't weight out the things I don't like about these glosses.

For me Bliss has bad formula, which I don't like to wear. It emphasizes dry parts and all imperfections on the lips, it looks very strange on me if my lips are not in perfect condition. I also think this shade doesn't look flattering on me, but that's just my personal opinion.
I'm a big fan of Essence lipsticks. It's true, they are not as long lasting as the name says, but they have nice formula, that goes on lips smoothly and they don't dry my lips. Well, the story is different with Oh So Matt shade. The shade doesn't really suit me, if you ask me, but that's not the reason I'm not a fan. This lipstick doesn't have such good pigmentation as other shades, it emphasizes dry parts on the lips, wears off after one hour and it also feels a bit drying. Luckily Essence lipsticks are not expensive.
Have you tried any of these products? What do you think about them? Thank you for reading!
