Spring is my favourite season. I'm always getting in a better mood when I see that everything starts growing and blossoming. Luckily I don't have problems with allergies, so I can enjoy in beauties of Spring. Recently I got my mojo for nail art back, but I was mostly sharing my manicures on Instagram (taja_g). This time I decided to take photos and write a blogpost as well because it's been ages since I last posted a manicure that wasn't a nail polish swatch here.
Lately it's been such a nice, sunny weather here (if we ignore the strong wind) that I couldn't pass by our peach tree without taking few photos of it. It's already in its full blossom and it looks beautiful. I'm really happy with the photos I took, and while I was editing them I thought this is a gorgeous inspiration to do a nail art. I really want to share more nail art on my blog in the future.
I started with two coats of white Essence Wild White Ways. Then I used the same white polish, Bourjois Bleu Water and OPI Rich Girls&Po-boys to do a blue gradient effect on my nails. I was using a sponge from Essence nail art set and I'm not very happy with it because it isn't dense enough and the crossing it created wasn't soft enough. Then I used China Glaze Mahagony Magic to draw branches and Models Own Gumball and Essence Love is in the Air for blossoms. I'm completely in love with these nails. I don't know about other nail polish addicts, but I always feel like my manicures look so much prettier in person than on photos.
What do you think about my manicure? If you like this post you're welcome to share it! Thank you for reading!
