About two weeks ago I purchased some products from Essence Lights of Orient collection. Among them, I also bought body&cuticle tattoos, which were my inspiration for the makeup and nail art I'm showing you today. Most of the designs on sheets are tribal in golden and turquoise colours, which were also two main colours I used for makeup and manicure.
For the eyes, I didn't complicate much. I made a very gentle smokey golden look, using eyeshadows from Sleek Storm palette. Under my eyes, I used matte turquoise eyeshadow from Sleek Curacao palette and in inner corner light champagne shimmery shade Martini from the same palette. For eyeliner, I used turquoise eyeshadow from Flash palette. I applied Sleek's glittery eyeliner under the flick and finished the look with mascara and false lashes. Later I added few turquoise dots under my brows to make the look a bit more artistic.
Again, I didn't complicate on my face. I contoured my face with Essence Oriental Beauty bronzer, which is really an amazing product (more about it in an upcoming review) and applied few turquoise dots on my cheeks. On my forehead, I applied two matching tattoos from Essence's Lights of Orient collection. On lips, I used golden and turquoise eyeshadow from Flash palette.

I also made matching nails for the look. The designs were inspired by Essence's tattoo designs. I started with two coats of Essence Wild White Ways. For designs, I used Essence Mojito Green and Manhattan 29Z. Then I applied few tattoos on my hand.
If I say few short words about tattoos - they are very easy to apply. You just cut the design you want to apply, remove the transparent foil and place it where you want it. Then use a wet tissue or something similar and dab it gently on the white paper/tattoo for few seconds. The tattoos transfer easily and completely on the skin. I can't say how long they last because I wash my hands often and these went off in a day (plus I was doing a major cleaning on the day I made this manicure).
What do you think about my makeup and nail art? Do you like Essence's tattoos? If you like this post, you're welcome to share it on social media. Thank you for reading!
