Blogmas 2014: Golden Goddess (Review of Essie Jiggle Hi Jiggle Low + Comparison)

There is no such thing as too many golden polishes in someone's stash. Lately my stash of golden polishes grew for one more shade - Essie Jiggle Hi Jiggle Low. It's a polish from Essie's 2014 winter collection.

I love this polish because it reminds me on my favourite metallic golden polish S-he 230. It has a metallic finish and an amazing formula that goes on nails smoothly. Of course, Essie polishes have nice wide flat, round on the top brush that enables even easier application. Drying time is quite fast, you could get away with a nice manicure even without a top coat. It needs two coats for an even and opaque look. The shade Jiggle Hi Jiggle Low isn't completely golden shade. It reminds me on Models Own Copacabana a bit, it looks more like silver-golden shade (of course both polishes have completely different finish). The removal is okay. It's not the easiest polish to remove, like cream ones are, but again not very difficult as for example glittery polishes. Once again, I'm not the right person to be asked how long nail polish lasts on my nails, because two days, as most of them lasts, is enough for me. For me this is an amazing shade, that will also be very handy when it comes to my nail art creativity. I bought it on 1+1 sale at DM, but otherwise Essie polishes cost 9,95 €.

I actually planned a separated post showing you all my golden nail polishes, but then I thought why not to include it in this one and make everything more interesting. I didn't include all my golden polishes, only those that can be worn on their own. Which means toppers are excluded, but you can see the ones I have from Essence in this post

This is a foil golden polish, that has very yellow undertone. Its formula is thick and it's opaque already after one coat, but it requires more careful application, because brush strokes are very visible. I'm not a huge fan of this one because it has too strong yellow undertone.

This one has very similar formula to Stargazer. It's a foil silver-golden shade. Its formula is also thicker, but I always wear it applied in two coats. This one also leaves brush strokes.

Essie Jiggle Hi Jiggle Low
photo you can see that is very similar to Copacabana, just that this one has a metallic finish.

A golden glittery shade with sand finish. Definitely the most pretty of them all. It applies like a dream and it's opaque in two coats. If you want to achieve more of a glossy look, just apply a top coat over it, but I prefer its rough look.

Essence Don't Feed the Tiger
This polish was a part of Circus Circus trend edition. It's a metallic golden shade, opaque in two coats and easy to apply.

S-he 230
I mentioned it before. It's the most pretty golden metallic shade I own. Unfortunately it was discontinued when S-he changed the packaging which is a bit sad, because it's really an amazing shade. It's applies like a dream and it's opaque in two coats.

Manhattan Liquid Metals 29Z
Another foil shade that has very similar formula to Models Own and Stargazer.

This is actually more of a brown than golden shade. It's a shimmery polish that also contains bigger golden glitter. It's opaque in two coats. It was a part of trend edition collection.

If you're going to click on the name of each shade you're going to see them swathed on nails. Not all polishes are still available. Both Essence shades, Manhattan and S-he polishes are discontinued, Essie is available at the moment at DM, you get get Stargazer in Tuš drugstore and on Bodizenska.si, while P2 polishes are sold at Moja drogerija and Models Own at Click2Chic. I personally would recommend you P2 Precious and Essie Jiggle Hi Jiggle Lo, if you're searching for a good golden nail polishes, because I know there's a lot of girl that don't like brush strokes that foil polishes, like Stargazer and Models Own, leave.

What do you think about Essie Jiggle Hi Jiggle Low polish? Did you get anything from Essie's winter collection? Thank you for reading!
